Blue Heron Villa

Description:

Assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and medications. Lunch and dinner meals plus snacks, weekly housekeeping as well as recreation opportunities.

Monthly Cost:

Residents pay 70% of their monthly after-tax income up to a maximum amount, plus $18.00 per month for electricity.

A security deposit of 1/2 a month’s rent is required upon move-in.

Accommodate Diets:

We have a 4 week rotating menu which follows the Canada Food Guide and is certified by a Registered Dietician. There is also a 2nd option at each meal.

• Fully walker and wheelchair accessible.
• Parking for outside scooters available at no extra charge.

Pets:

Pets may be permitted, on approval.

Transportation:

Tenants are responsible for their own transportation. Blue Heron Villa is on the city bus route.

Cable/Phone/Internet:

• Phone and Internet not included, resident responsibility.
• A charge of $22.00 per month may be added if you choose to have cable and internet services.

Storage:

Each suite has an in suite storage area, approximately 12’ x 5’.

Air Conditioning:

Individually controlled heating and air conditioning.

24-hr Staff:

Care Aides registered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry.

Activities:

A variety of recreational opportunities are offered (exercise, crafts, happy hour with live entertainment, community out trips, book club, bingo, etc.).

Amenities:

Reading area, craft room, spa room, hairdressing room, resident laundry room, and outdoor gazebo. Walking distance to a shopping centre.
