Legacy Tower

I live in Legacy Tower and just want to ensure people aren’t misled by the advertising of this building that hasn’t been updated. Yes, it was a 55+ building for low income seniors when owned by Kiwanis, but once it was sold, it is now a regular apartment rental building. Renovations have brought improvements and rent has skyrocketed. It is no longer a much needed low-income building for seniors. I hope corrections will be made to various websites that are still listing it as “low income housing for 55+” Thank you.

Hello this is Eunice Nickel I lived in 1312 for about 1 1/2 years. But I had to leave for medical reasons. As a matter of fact my surgery is tomorrow in Victoria . I must say I loved legacy. It had a real homey feeling. I was there when a lot of Reno and policy changes were going on. Legacy was really trying to make it better. It was kept clean all the time maintenance was very helpful with all needs. Having been in building management myself for many years I appreciate all efforts to make everything work smoothly and it’s not an easy task sometimes. Keep up the good work
